As you may know we’re a huge board game and flash cards family. I simply have too many posts regarding how we adapt portions of board games in the car and airplane, to always having more flash cards as our means of “playing cards” as fun, educational pasttimes.
Well, we were gifted the Women in Islam cards and absolutely loved them. I didn’t even think to look up the company to see if they had other awesome products to “Share the Deen”. 😉
So, when Share the Deen, the company who created Women in Islam contacted me with an opportunity to review their Allah’s Prophets memory card game; my girls and I were all-game!
Allah’s Prophets Memory Card Game
The game includes a set of 32-pairs of cards. One pair of cards include:
1-Question card is orange
1-Answer card in green
The cards are meant to be played like any memory card game, however since we’re not matching like-images, (for example, 2-ducks), you’re matching the Answer with the Question, this memory game was created for older kids and adults. The makers recommend Ages 8 years old and up.
As pictured above there’s the Q&A Reference Sheet so you can “test” your knowledge in the beginning to make sure you know all the facts that goes along with each Prophet.
Upon receipt, we immediately opened the package and starting putting the pairs together from memory. Two of us were asking the questions, as we laid out all the Answers so we can all scramble to pick up the matching cards. Hubby was actually home working on the other side of the room. Not knowing he was even listening to our obvious excitement, would answer as fast as he could to show he’s quicker than us, mashaAllah. So, as any competitor would do, JoJo and I starting asking the questions in hushed tones.
Hah! I don’t even need the (answer) cards to help him–as he grinned while we shuffled through the cards. So, yes–I needed the cards to jog my memory; but at the end the entire family DID know all the answers. There were a few tricky ones, which I won’t tell you, so as not to spoil your educational fun entertainment as well!
Of the 32-pairs, lessons are taught about 18 of Allah’s Prophets.
The creators recommend using 8 (a quarter) or 16 (a half) of the pairs to begin playing the memory game.

Women in Islam Biological Flash Cards
JoJo has been holding these cards by her bed since we got them. The lessons are vast and inspirational. So much content is given on one small card.
The pack includes 25 cards, and geared also to children ages 8 years old and up.
As pictured above, there is one Resource card that gives some ideas how to use the cards like:
- Q&A sessions (we did)
- Guessing game (we did)
- Reading practice (learning aide for each Women in Islam – we did)
- Islamic Studies resource (handy little pack convenient like a tiny book – we did)
However, we particular appreciate this card because it lists the ayat in the Qur’an in which the various women are referenced. It explains so concisely, that only Maryam is mentioned in the Qur’an by name, whereas the others are referenced. For future research, it is encouraged to research ahadith to broaden the stories of each of these phenomenal Women in Islam. My girls and I have been inspired to future our knowledge of many of these stories, so these cards are great primers for all Muslims of all ages.
To show our competitiveness, we have yet to read, research of play with these cards near hubby. 😉 Once we opened them and saw the various names, many of whom I didn’t know, we knew it was our sign to get to work. Fortunately, this kind of work is fun, motivational, encouraging, and truly a lovable, passionate experience. These remarkable women are role models for us all, and I recommend every single household at least getting one set of these cards today!
FYI, NO we are not hiding the cards for hubby. Throughout these weeks, we’ve all witnessed the set sitting throughout the house, even on his desk or by his set as these working or chilling out. It’s actually fun to be this competitive with necessary facts about our deen.
I’m curious, is your family this competitive? Curious? Enjoy learning about our deen (way of life as Muslims) in fun, engaging ways like using one of these products?
Must be 18 years old, and U.S. resident only.
Disclosure: We were given the memory card game for our honest review. If you’ve been here long, you know I’m adamant against lying since it’s haram, and I have refused publishing dozens, if not 100s of reviews, simply because when I received the product (especially books) I was adamantly against the quality or message they portrayed.
